There are a lot events in the Vail Valley every year. In fact, not only are there some incredibly fun events to participate in, there are also a number of events held throughout the year that benefit charitable organizations. For example, “A Grateful Harvest” recently raised over $750,000 for the Roundup River Ranch. Roundup River Ranch

The Roundup River Ranch is a camp that was established as part of The Serious Fun Children’s Network. The purpose of the camp is to provide a place for children suffering from chronic and life-threatening diseases. Although the camp was conceived in 2006, the economic crisis a few years later made it difficult to raise the money that was needed. Finally, in 2011, they were able to open the doors of their camp to 34 seriously ill children, becoming the first comprehensive medical camp in the state.

The Grateful Harvest is an event held every year in order to raise money for the camp. The event included amazing food from local chefs as well as wine pairings from local wineries in addition to live entertainment.

Volunteer or donate to the Roundup River Ranch and contact our Cole Luxury Team at 970-390-0026 for more information about the area.
