After much hand-wringing and “lawyering”, the All Points North Lodge, in Cordillera outside of Edwards, Colorado, finally broke ground on its construction/development project this last summer. The former Lodge at Cordillera will be transformed into a wellness and addiction recovery center offering integrated behavioral health, wellness and addiction recovery programs.
The proposal to transform The Lodge into a health care “campus” didn’t receive approval easily as several Cordillera homeowners tried to stop the Lodge’s owner, APN Capital, of Baltimore, Maryland, from converting The Lodge into a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center. After years of unsuccessful legal challenges, the District Court finally threw out the legal challenges brought by the homeowners and barred them from suing again on the same grounds.
