Eagle County real estate stays on track with a fast start to 2014. A total dollar volume for February is $121,963,299, which brings the total year-to-date to over $225 million; 44% higher than 2013 year-to-date of $156,293,327.  Transactions also remain high with 92 for February, bringing the year-to-date total to 199; 11% above last yearthrough February, which was 180 transactions.

February boasted the highest overall average sales price in quite some time at $1,325,688. By comparison, the average sales price for year end 2013 was $801,000.

Beaver Creek had a strong month with 9 transactions totaling more than $15 million, 12.5% of the county’s total sales volume.

Vail Village had the highest sale for February at $11,200,000.

Bank sales continue to slow with just 2 in February and 5 through the first 2 months of 2014.
