Eagle River Valley Trail Nearing Completion

The proposed Eagle River Valley Trail is only 19.5 miles from completion.  The Trail, when completed, will connect for 63 miles from  Vail Pass-to-Glenwood Canyon.  By the end of the summer, an additional 3.5 miles will be completed on the “Eagle-to-Horn Ranch” segment.

Twelve of the remaining sixteen miles are in the design phase while the last four miles are part of the Wolcott planned unit development.  ECO Trails has been working on funding to complete the trail by applying for grants and asking other departments for assistance.
