Gypsum Daze Celebrates Town’s 100th Anniversary
The Centennial Celebration Week for the Town of Gypsum begins tomorrow, July 8th with an old-time dance potluck dinner. Gypsum Daze promises to be over a week’s worth of fun that the small town and surrounding area residents will not soon forget.
After tomorrow’s kick-off event, the next scheduled activity is for Tuesday, July 12th. The Free and Easy Concert by Bravo will take place at 7PM and is the perfect opportunity to experience chamber music up close and personal. Wednesday, July 13th sees the Family and Faith Night come to fruition with live music from local church groups all night long.
Friday, July 15th and Saturday, July 16th is when Gypsum Daze really comes alive. In addition many planned activities and scheduled events, Joey & Rory, Eli Young Band, and Oak Ridge Boys are all set to perform. Of course, food and craft vendors will be set up to please the Gypsum masses all day long.
For more information about the event, please visit the Town of Gypsum website. I highly encourage Vail Valley residents to attend the celebration, if possible. It is sure to be a fun few days out in the gorgeous summer weather in Colorado.
