Vail Valley Real Estate Sales Picking Up!

By In The Vail Valley On April 2, 2010

Real Estate sales for January 2010 doubled last year’s volume for the same time period, according to a monthly report posted by Land Title Guarantee Company.  The dollar volume recorded for this time period was more than $86.8 million dollars, whereas January’s sales totals for 2009 were, merely, $40.4 million.

Although the bulk of the sales total came at the “less than $500,000” market, high-end buyers are coming back into the marketplace.  There were several $2 million, or more, sales, which made contributions to January’s bottom line and showed that the high-end buyers were investing in the Valley, once again.  For more information on the most recent Eagle County Market Analysis, go to my web site at www.KathySellsVail.com and check on the “January 2010 Eagle County Market Analysis”.
