Honoring founder Kim Langmaid, the Walking Mountains Science Center will be celebrating 20 years of providing natural science education to the Eagle River Valley community on July 10, 2018. Called the “Taste of Nature”, the annual gala fundraising event is quite the affair and sells out every year.

Langmaid will be honored with the “Reach for the Peak” award for her vision and drive within the organization. As well, Vail Resorts will be awarded the “Founder’s Stewardship Award” for the company’s contributions to the nonprofit and greater community interests.
